About Us
The Hayling Island
Personal Watercraft Club (also known
as Jetski's) was formed by a group of
responsible Jetskiers who use the Langstone Harbour slipways on a
regular basis. The Personal
Watercraft Partnership and the Langstone Harbour Master
introduced the idea of a new club to users in an initial
meeting in May of 2007 at the Ferry Boat Inn, Hayling Island. Finally
in October 2007, the club was formed ready to receive new memberships
for the 2008 season.
The Hayling Island PWC Club, is a Personal Watercraft club which aims to:
- Promote and protect our sport by encouraging responsible behaviour and adherence to local bylaws.
- Provide a club that allows its members to enjoy their sport with other like minded people on and off the water.
- Provide a focal point for the local community to enable wider awareness of the sport.
The club has a Committee to oversee the smooth day to day running of the club on behalf of the club members. The Club is governed by the Club Constitution and the Club is RYA Affiliated. significant benefits
in becoming a member of the club. If you are considering launching from

BEFORE
you
travel to ensure you have all the necessary information regarding
proposed changes to the charging system which has been updated by the
Langstone Harbour Board for this forthcoming season.The Club has been set up by Jetskiers for Jetskiers so please do not hesitate to Contact us regarding new idea's, questions, advice or feedback on any club issues. We have a Club Forum where you can discuss all sorts of issues with other club members or the entire Jetski community, if you wish.
The Club's main purpose is to ensure safe and fun jetskiing and as part of this objective the Club intends to orgainise Club Events both on and off the water throughout the year. Please keep an eye out for these events as your support and attendance will help you obtain more confidence and most definately more enjoyment from your sport.
The Committe is very approachable, so if you see any of us in the Ferry Boat Inn, or on the Slipway, please do not hesitate to come over and say hello.
