Club Benefits
Being part of a Club has many rewards for individual members. We list here some of the benefits which are current and some which are being planned or which are in-negotiation.

Langstone Jetski Permit
Full
members of the club, are entitled to a
100% reduction on the cost of the 2008 Langstone Jetski permit.
Currently the Jetski Permit costs £50 to non-club members and
must be obtained from the Langstone Harbour Master. The Permit is
required
by any Personal Watercraft user launching from any of the Langstone
Slipways. To obtain the discount, users will have to present their
Hayling Island PWC Club ID
card to the Langstone Harbour Office prior to purchase. Note:
The Langstone Harbour master will not issue refunds or any pro-rata
credits if a ID card is presented after purchase of the permit.
You must apply for a Jetski Permit direct from the Langstone Harbour Master, even if you are a Club member.
Jetski Insurance
Hayling Island PWC club is now able to confirm that valid members of the club are able to obtain a 10% discount off Jetski Insurance from Towergate Mardon. For a quote please contact their office on0870 156 6377

the number above.Members are advised to ring around for alternative quotations to check for the best level of cover and pricing based on individual circumstances. HIPWC is unable to recommend any particular insurance company but some main points you may want to discuss when obtaining a quote are:
- Ensure you obtain a quote for at least £2,000,000 third party liability (min for club membership)
- Ask if the quote covers Road Transit cover (if required)
- Ask if the quote covers the liability of towing toys and towables (if required)
Club Discounts
The club is looking to negotiate other favorable terms with many suppliers so that members have additional financial rewards for supporting their local club. Idea's at the moment are:- Discounts with other local suppliers

Standard Benefits

jetskiing. As a club member, you will be invited to attend club events,
training opportunities and other activities that will boost your
confidence, improve safety and above all allow you and your family to
have more fun from your personal watercraft.
