Ferry Point Signage
All Photo's on this page can be enlarged by clicking on them.
Main
Slipway Signage

This is the start of the
Ferry point slipway. The area in front of the
signage is usually used by waiting traffic to turn into in preperation
to reverse down the slipway. If someone is waiting here, please do not
jump the queue. They are simply waiting their turn. If you have a 4x4
and wish to beach launch / recover it is acceptable to "drive thru" in
between traffic movements.
Beware of other beach users who do not expect to be looking for this
type of traffic, especially children and lunch time drinkers!

This is part of the new RNLI safety signage at this Slipway. This main
board reminds users of recommended equipment and actions that should be
undertaken before venturing out to sea.
Please click the image to see an enlarged version which can be read
before travelling.
This sign is normally updated daily by the Langstone Harbour Master to
indicate daily predicted weather, sea state and visability. The website
version is not updated daily so please take note of the information
board when you arrive at the slip.

This Sign is located just outside of the Langstone Harbour Masters
compund and details some basic rules and guidance.
This sign is part of the Main Slipway signage loacted at the beginning
of the slipway. It details general slipway rules and local harbour
features.

This sign is located outside of the Harbour Masters office and contains
some useful information regarding local bylaws.
